As an analyst, strategist and catalyst, Kim combines a problem-solver mindset with the effortless ability to bring people together. Her easy approach to hard things make her an essential ingredient to making 3.2.1 thrive.
Kim’s talents were recognized in her very first job, where, over a span of nine years, she went from ad agency intern to opening a branch office. From there, Kim jumped to P&G, where, among other things, she helped manage the largest direct mail campaign ever.
With an urge for a new challenge, Kim soon embarked as a freelance account executive, a path which was, at the time, largely unchartered. It turns out she didn’t have to wonder if there was a market for what she did. Her talents were quickly in demand for work across healthcare, package goods, tourism, and financial industries. Ad agencies tapped her to manage work for 3M and Cargill.
When her family moved to Seattle, Kim took another leap, joining Virginia Mason (a healthcare system of 10 hospitals and 300 care sites) as a full-time consultant to manage clinic openings, advertising and professional sports partnerships with the Seahawks, Sounders and Kraken. Eventually, she was tapped to lead their marketing efforts.
The open secret that defines Kim’s experience everywhere—and her leadership at 3.2.1—is the drive to find the best way forward, rally the team and get results that last.
Kim loves the outdoors, and you’ll often find her on the water or hiking the trails with her husband around Seattle (where, true to her ability to bring people together, she’s started a walking club). She’s also a maker—whether cooking, sewing or pursuing her art. Kim also volunteers at a food bank, and if you’re at a community event in her neighborhood, there’s a good chance you’ll run into her.
